In 2008 we relocated a client, a leading manufacturer in the construction sector, into their new office and warehouse facility in Kent. Fast forward 10 years and their continued growth has fuelled staff expansion and the need to optimise their workspace.
The project involves a complete refurbishment of the space, but the hub of the project is a large kitchen breakout area which will be a central point for staff to meet and collaborate.
Elsewhere the boardroom and main meeting room will be divided by a folding wall in order to open up and create a large presentation / seminar area and office booths will give staff locations for quiet focused work. The optimised layout of the space will enable a shift for all staff to adopt more agile working practices and draw on the benefits of a cross-working and collaborative workspace.
