Mother is a creative company based in Shoreditch, London, originating from 1996. Today, they have over 500 staff in locations like London, New York, LA, and Shanghai. Their main office, once a biscuit factory, is set in a warehouse revamped by Clive Wilkinson Architects and spans 4 floors of unique workspaces.

Their main office, once a biscuit factory, is set in a warehouse revamped by Clive Wilkinson Architects and spans 4 floors of unique workspaces.
We worked intimately with Mother's partners and creatives to craft a distinctive workspace, quite different from typical modern offices. Sustainability and reuse were key themes. The existing glass partitions and doors, reminiscent of the Crittall style, were revamped into meeting rooms, each furnished with select mid-century items.

A standout feature is the massive 50-seater oval desk encircling the main columns. It's constructed from reclaimed floorboards and topped with resin. Instead of traditional workstations, we introduced custom desks, also from reclaimed floorboards and resin, but resting on vintage Victorian-style radiators.
